The NFL season has arrived and fans are excited to dive back into the action. The regular season will go 18 weeks this year, which means more opportunities to bet on games. For PlaySugarHouse, that means a chance to enter the “Bet the Spread Challenge.”

Instead of the traditional survivor pool, PlaySugarHouse has decided on a season-long contest where players bet spreads and earn points. A bet of $25 or more on any pre-game spread with odds of -125 or better is eligible for the contest. Each correct spread bet is worth one point. However, picking the right side of the featured Game of the Week will earn three points.

There are no minimum numbers of games to bet each week or numbers of weeks to play. Obviously, the more eligible picks made, the more points can be accumulated. Players cannot bet both sides of a game – doing so results in disqualification from the contest.

Weekly winners can earn up to $5,000 in bonus money. The top 200 performers will cash in the weekly contest, from $50 up to $5,000. When the season ends, the top 1,000 participants will receive bonus money as well, ranging from $100 to $50,000 for first place. As PlaySugarHouse customers know, this money only has to be played one-time through to receive money eligible for withdrawal.

PlaySugarHouse has built their reputation as a player’s casino. Rush Street has set up shop in eight states with their strong user interface and favorable terms. The site will also lower the “juice”, or prices, on game-day, usually taking the -110 odds on spread and total bets, up a few cents to improve payouts for winning bets. That alone should get players excited to check them out for the 2021 NFL season. The contest is an extra incentive.

This is a great opportunity to get involved with season-long action. Players can decide how many games to play each week or sit out entirely if nothing looks too certain. Unlike some contests, there’s no up-front buy-in or limitations on who can be picked.
