Golden Nugget added Unlimited 21 Blackjack – Auto Split to its online live dealer game library in June 2018 in an effort to ensure no one has to wait for a spot to open up at its live dealer blackjack tables again.

In fact, as the name implies, an unlimited number of players can get in on the action on this live dealer game table. Other games put a cap on the number of players that can sit down at the same time. Not so for Unlimited Blackjack.

Unlimited Blackjack uses a “common draw” format to make sure players never have to wait for a spot to open again.

Standard blackjack game with unlimited players

The game is played with an eight-deck shoe and features some rules that are similar to other live dealer blackjack games, and others that are different, including:

  • Dealer stands on soft 17
  • Double down after a split
  • Double down on any two cards
  • Push on blackjack
  • Blackjack pays 3 to 2
  • Pairs 2-8 and aces are split automatically with a choice to play one or both

Unlimited Blackjack seven days a week

Bets range from a minimum of $1 to a maximum of $1,000. The game is offered seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. ET on Golden Nugget online casino.

It’s still standard blackjack in that a hand with a value closer to 21 than the dealer’s is a winner. Plus, players still win if the dealer’s hand goes over 21 and lose if theirs does.

Players get in by choosing a seat from 1-7 in the lobby. They place bets by selecting a chip value from the slider and then clicking directly on the table in front of their seat.

Players need to wait for any game in progress to wrap up before getting in the game.

All players are dealt two common-cards face up. These cards are used by all participating players in that seat. The dealer also gets two cards as well, one of which remains face down. A single dealer’s hand is also used for all players in all seats.

All players are asked to act for a limited amount of time. Each player’s decision on each seat is independent. The dealer draws player cards individually based on the player’s decision to stand, hit, double down, or split.

Players also have the option to take an insurance bet or surrender when the dealer is showing an ace.

Once all players in all seats have acted, the dealer turns over the down card and proceeds to draw or stand according to the table rules.

Optional side bets

This game also features two optional side bets: Perfect Pairs and 21+3.

Perfect Pairs payout on pairs in a player’s first two cards. It pays more for suited or same color pairs.

21+3 pays on various card combinations including Suited Trips, Straight Flush, Three of a Kind, Straight, and Flush.

The game is temporarily paused and a resolution reached if there is a deal error.

Should there be a system disconnection prior to the deal, bets are returned to players. If a disconnection occurs after the No More Bets message appears, the hand plays out with the default action as stand for all players.

When a player disconnects from the game server, a reconnect message is displayed until the player reconnects. If the disconnection occurs after the No More Bets message appears, the hand plays out with the default action as stand.

Unlimited Blackjack is player friendly

Thanks to some relatively favorable house rules, the game has a decent RTP of 99.56 percent. The RTP on Golden Nugget’s other live dealer blackjack games average around 99.3 percent.

The Perfect Pair side bet has an RTP of 95.91 percent. The 21+3 side bet has an RTP of 93.72 percent.

With the exception of the unique split rules, the game plays like regular blackjack. However, the RTP is better than that of Golden Nugget’s other live dealer blackjack games. Plus, players who stand get to see the card they would have received when another player hits the same hand.

Add in the fact that there’s no need to wait for a spot at the table during peak hours when other tables might be full and Golden Nugget’s Unlimited Blackjack is a truly player-friendly live dealer game.

Live dealer games have been offering a hybrid between traditional casino games and their online equivalents on Golden Nugget since August 2016. The games provide an immersive experience, allowing gamblers to play live table games from home.

Blackjack has been the most popular game of the bunch, combining the excitement of the trusted live casino experience with the ease, speed, and accuracy of online betting.

Golden Nugget’s Unlimited 21 Blackjack – Auto Split takes it to another level of accessibility, making sure those that want to play always can. You won’t find anything like it at other NJ online casinos.
