The weather may be dreadful, but NJ online casinos had a pretty productive January.

Tropicana & Virgin Online Casino

Tropicana and sister casino Virgin both added one new game, which seems to be there M.O. At this rate, it will be 2024 before they break the 300-game mark.

But at least they’re adding something (unlike four other NJ online casinos).

This month the new slot is Volts and Bolts, a fun game that takes place in the laboratory of our mad scientist (who also serves as the Scatter symbol). There’s the typical Free Spins bonus, as well as a Robot bonus.

You can trigger this bonus by landing six or more robots anywhere on the reels. During the round, you’ll get five free spins, where the robots stick throughout the round.

These transform into larger Robot Shapes. Once the five spins are complete the Robot Shapes transform into Electricity Reels that spin with a variety of awards for either a bonus or cash (up to 5,000x your bet!)

Status Quo

Harrahs is now at 11 months without any new game additions. While they do offer regular promotions, the gaming library remains static with 98 slots, one blackjack variation and four table games, for a total of 103.

888 went big last month and added 16 new titles, but the cold snap has frozen its games at 251, including 237 slots, four blackjack variations, five video poker options and five table games.

Pala added no games in November 2018, then 10 in December and back to zero again in January. At the end of the month, the totals were 276 slots, four blackjack, eight video poker and five table games.
